Client RelationsWe love the client. You love the client. But sometimes, the client can be a bear to manage. Without them, we would all be in trouble so it’s better to figure out some relationship tools and tips than to leave them high and dry. Which results in no more clients; no more work…you get the picture. If you have a tip to share or a particular “situation” you need advice on, leave it here. Oh, and if any of you are clients, we still love you. |

Pricing WorkTime is worth everything – so why can’t our clients understand that? We will have to tackle that issue at another time or on another planet. What we do know at Emancipated Artist is that pricing your work is one of the most important things you will do. This is how you will pay your bills, continue being your own boss and treat your “staff” to beers on Friday night. Let’s all share how we figure out our worth…for the photography and imagery that is. |

Marketing YourselfYou are good looking, went to college, can make balloon animals. We get it – you are awesome. This isn’t a personal ad though. The marketing that will get you business and keep you living your passion is what we are after. It’s what you should be after, too. Give Emancipated Artist your questions, suggestions or ideas. Go ahead, shoot. Once we perfect this, we can start refining your personal ad. |

Perfect PortfolioIn today’s world of drive thru Botox clinics, it isn’t uncommon to strive for perfection in the looks department. Here at Emancipated Artist we don’t care if you have full lips or a perfect chin, but we do care how you showcase your work. When it comes to making a living as a full-time photographer or image creator, your portfolio better be as close to perfect as possible. It is important to create picture perfect portfolios – so share your ideas or ask us your questions. While you’re at it…show off your work, too. |
